BATTLE of Jewelry Maker inventory programs
Hi all,
I am super excited about all of the great energy this New Year is bringing! The theme so far, is money, money management, efficiency, and all that is small business related. I have been in search for a software-accounting-inventory system that would work for my #smallbusiness needs. After years of eyeing JEWELRY DESIGNER MANAGER I have finaly ruled it out. It seems perfect in many ways. They have multiple editions depending on your needs (including a craft edition)!!!!! Being that I am a die hard Mac user, I would have to run parallels or boot camp in order to use it. I wanted it so badly, that I even purchased bootcamp. However it took up space on my hardrive, and I still needed to buy a windows operating system + microsoft office. And that my friends was cost prohibitive for me. Soooooooooo I did some research and purchased BEAD MANAGER PRO! It is Mac & Windows compatible. It was only $160 (with tax), and came with a lot of SWAG (aka free stuff). Part of the Swag included a Jewelry Business Free tips ebook which you can also get for Free if you visit their Facebook page. The features seem comparable to the Jewelry Designer Manager program mentioned above. I even like Bead Manager Pro's interface.
Since I just purchased it tonight, and can't wait to play with it, I will update you soon on the ins and outs of this program as well as others I have used on a trial basis.

My newest creations! I have had all of these stones for some time now. I just had to find the right time for them to speak to me. The Copper nugget (upper left), I purchased while on a road trip with mom in Norther California. I spotted a Gem shop and had to make a detour. For some crazy reason I only bought two of these spectacular stones :( So the moral of the story is these rings in particular (with these stones) are a limited edition run. But don't worry because I am always inspired by rare materials and beautiful gems !!!
I have been told I have a wonderful eye (wink!) So if you miss out on this set, there are more to come.

This is my new favorite picture. It sums up a part of my cultural-family-and personal style history. It is a foreshadowing of what could be know as "california" style. From the modern day rockabillys', to the girls of east LA. It is a snapshot of keeping it sexy, but able to work a power tool.
I am so inspired by these ladies. Maybe its because my grandfather worked/retired from this same Douglas Aircraft. Whatever the case these Woman ROCK!!!!

Dear Aingeel-Z Jewelry Lovers
A hug and a kiss to all of you who came out to Atlantic Antic!!! It was a success thanks to you. I appreciate your loyality (especially Roger), and encouragement.
This year Aingeel-Z was stationed near Atlantic & Bond St, which was all the way live!!! Not only was there a Gospel Choir Singing, it was booths away from Khamit Kinks (the renowned natural hair salon where I work at) I was able to see clients, send clients over, and use their lovely rest room facilities.
Enough about the location, lets see some photos!
Sheryl And I had a great time catching up. Can't wait for us to get together for jewelry night, since she is a fellow jewelry artist.

TARGET FOR MISSONI. I got mine, did you get yours?
This week Target launched it's Missoni line. Missoni's luxury brand is available at Target while supplies last. I ordered online the 2nd day Missoni became available, and many things were already sold out. Now I love fashion, especially prints and texture, but I am not fanitical about my wears. I heard that people were setting there alarms for 6am, just to ensure they got a coveted Missoni- With this Italian brand being manufactured exclusively for target the price point makes this luxury brand accessible to you and me. I am not an early bird so no waking up in the A.M.for me, but I did find some great pieces from this limited collection.
