Crazy about Candles... scent by Fifth and Madison Collection: ARIENDE

CANDLE SCENTS....

A while ago a friend of mine asked if I had a favorite candle scent, and I realized I didn't have one.   But I went to a shopping event called Shecky's Girls night out in NY and found a fab-u-lous candle.    

The brand is Fifth and Madison collection, and the scent is Ariende.    Let me tell you, this is my "new favorite thing"!!!!  First of all one of my rituals before working is to first light a candle, second sweep up a little in my work room, and only then can the creative juices can flow...   

this is the yummy-ist smell ever!!!  Anyway this Ariende scent is very bold and "throws well".  In other words it fills a room with strong lasting fragrance.  It's a soy candle witch is a plus considering soy has so many benefits compared to paraffin waxes.   For instance, soy candles burn cleaner (less soot), and also burn up to twice as long(it has 3 wicks).  Since soy beans are grown in the US, soy candles contribute to the American Economy by producing domestically.  These are just a  couple of the reasons why soy is good.  For more info on soy candle benefits go to www.soy-wax-candles.com.


The candle was selling at Sheky's Girl Night out, for a deal (steal really) of 2 for $40, opposed to $32 though their website.  The company describes the scent as a "fresh, shimming scent that opens an orchard of Peach, Nectarine, Cassis, and Rasberry woven into a splendid melange of White tea and Ginger".  All I know is that I want to jump in to the wax it smells so good!!!  Totally intoxicating... I'm burning one now!
