WHATS ON YOUR SHELF???? Inspiration Books, Crafting Resources, How to start a home based business!!

This journey through the WORLD Of Design can kind-of feel like a dice game.  Sorry for the analogy, but really it can feel like gambling.   I have often felt unsure of what direction to go in, I went to school for design, not business!   At these times when I don't feel so confident I call up friends, colleagues, and often the perpetual companionship of a good book.

 NIATRA, this post is for you...

  So for the millions of questions that I have regarding this jewelry business of mine I humbly refer.  Now there are a few that I have used for years for guidance.

 1. The first for all of  you jewelry makers is MARKETING AND SELLING YOUR HANDMADE JEWELRY: The complete Guide to Turning Your Passion Into Profit  By,  Viki Lareau

2. The second one was given to me from the most wonderful-super supportive and encouraging person (Debbi), for a graduation gift!   And I have probably read it at least 3 times by now....is   SELL YOUR JEWELRY: How to Start a Jewelry Business and Make Money Selling Jewelry, By Stacie Vander Pol  

3. Now this book,    "THIS BOOK RIGHT HERE" .... Is like the Cadillac of entrepreneurial resources.  HOW TO START A HOME-BASED CRAFT BUSINESS, By Denn Oberrecht      He has included forms that you can photocopy, of customize to fit your business.  











 4.   Last but, by far the most inspirational of the 4, is THE HANDMADE MARKETPLACE: How to sell your crafts Locally, Globally, and Online, By  Kari Chapin.
   This book has every thing in it from Blogging to Craft fairs to Branding.  You will feel hopeful about your business after reading this book. 





If your not a jeweler don't fret it is knowledge to be gained from any of theses books.   Thanks for listening!
